With the OID, sixteen companies have launched a research program on the biodiversity footprint of real estate projects
Under the impetus of Gecina, various urban and regional players have been working on preserving biodiversity, and have launched the Biodiversity Impulsion Group (BIG) program. Coordinated by the Observatoire de l’Immobilier Durable, BIG is a program of applied research and collective actions, aimed at developing a shared reference system of indicators and measurement tools for improving the biodiversity footprint of real estate projects, and orienting the choices of project owners and investors, and to better reconcile the urban and ecological functions of land.
