A participatory workshop to discuss territorial biodiversity challenges

On 31st May, 2022, the BIG partners gathered for a participatory workshop at Linkcity’s offices, to discuss the factors influencing biodiversity at the territorial level. The purpose of the session was to facilitate the exchange of ideas regarding various land-related factors that could influence the indicators reflecting the state of biodiversity in the surrounding area of a specific site. Using a Geographic Information System (GIS) approach, the goal was to develop an indicator assessing the criticality of the site in terms of biodiversity. A big thank you to the speakers Erwan Cherel, Protected Areas Officer – French Committee of the International Union for Conservation of Nature, and Anne-Claire Barberi, CSR and Innovation Manager – Perial Asset Management, for the quality of their presentations, as well as to all of the participants for their involvement in the discussions.
