New participatory workshop: gaining knowledge and tools in order to promote biodiversity issues in real estate

On October 12, 2023, BIG partners gathered for a participatory workshop at the Evergreen Campus of Crédit Agricole Immobilier. The objective of this workshop was to collectively reflect on a self-learning course tailored to the level of expertise and profession of each participant.

Increasing the skills of all real estate professionals in biodiversity issues is essential for the transformation of the industry. While there is plenty of content available, it can be difficult to know where to start and which tools to turn to. To meet this need, the BIG programme wants to develop a course to validate the skills required in ecology, the levers that can be mobilised and the arguments that can be used to get stakeholders on board.

This workshop was held at the start of the process to consult professionals from the real estate, ecology and education sectors, so that together we could outline the form this project could take.

We extend our thanks to Margaux Derrien, an ecologist consultant at Greenaffiar, for her contribution and insights into her role as an ecologist, and to all participants for their active engagement in the discussions.

Special thanks to CA Immobilier for providing the meeting space!
